Corrigendum No.3 to the Call for AEs

Please note that an updated version of the SmartEEs2 Call for Application Experiments has been published here in line with the Corrigendum No. 3.

The changes of the SmartEEs2 Call refer to the clarifications in the sections: What?, Who?, Why? and How?.  

New links to the Technical Marketplace are included in What? and How? sections.

Clarifications as to the types of applicants were introduced in section Who?, while clarifications as to the 20 k€ for non-technical service were introduced in section Why?.

Call documents section was updated with new version of the Application Guidelines with some minor changes and corrections.

SmartEEs2 webinar – Hybrid Printed Electronics for Flexible, Stretchable and 3D Products

SmartEEs2 partners TNO and CeNTI are jointly organizing a webinar on Hybrid Printed Electronics for Flexible, Stretchable and 3D Products on 7th December 2020 at 10a.m. CET.

The webinar will focus on:

  • Printed electronics market approach
  • Manufacturing methods
  • Printing, assembly, post processing
  • Printed electronics building blocks
  • Demonstrations.

SmartEEs2 is a European project aimed on helping the European Industry to reinforce its competitive advantage by providing acceleration support to Innovative Companies for integration of Flexible and Wearable Electronics Technologies.

One of the tools created is the support of new projects, called Application Experiments, to which different entities can apply for, to receive specialized support in the development of new technologies.

As a Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs), the project aims at creating the best conditions for long-term business success for all parties involved, ensuring that every company, small or large, high-tech or not, can grasp the digital opportunities.

The SmartEEs partners Fraunhofer FEP, CEA, AMIRES, OES, DSPvalley and Minalogic invite you to a short SmartEEs-Workshop on 15th December 2020. We will show you how you can benefit from a grant of up to 100k€ for your product idea in the field of flexible and wearable electronics. Based on our first workshop in March, we would like to explain how SmartEEs and its ecosystem work and finally present the current status of the project.

If you are unable to attend this event, we cordially invite you to the second workshop on 12th January 2021 at 2:00 pm.

SmartEEs2 Call for AEs – 8 proposals selected for the 2nd cut-off date

Following the evaluation process of proposals submitted by the 2nd cut-off date, the SmartEEs2 consortium selected 8 proposals to proceed with the contracting phase. The projects are focused on integrating flexible and wearable electronics into advanced new products / series of products.

Altogether 15 proposals were received for this cut-off date, all of which were evaluated by the SmartEEs2 Evaluation Panel. The funding amount for each of the selected projects will be decided during the contracting phase.
